Delaware state police are investigating a fatal accident on Philadelphia Pike in Wilmington.
The accident happened at approximately 8:30 Saturday morning. Police say that two pedestrians were struck by a car in the 200 block of Philadelphia Pike.
Both pedestrians and the driver of the vehicle were transferred from the site of the crash to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center. Investigators later confirmed that one person died in the accident, though they did not say if the person was one of the two pedestrians.
No identities have been released.
