Police are investigating a double shooting in the city’s Harrowgate section that left one man dead and another injured.

Police say a 29-year-old man and another man in his late 20’s were on the 3400 block of H Street shortly after 8 p.m. when an unknown gunman opened fire.

The 29-year-old was struck in the right leg while the man in his late 20’s was struck in the chest.

Both victims were taken to Temple University Hospital. The man in his late 20’s was pronounced dead at 8:50 p.m. The 29-year-old man is currently in stable condition.

Police also say a stray bullet struck a nearby home with a family, including four children, inside. No one inside the house was hurt however.

Police have not yet revealed the identities of the victims or information on any suspects. No arrests have been made.
