One person was killed and another was injured when their vehicle struck a barrier and overturned on a southern New Jersey roadway.
It's not yet known what caused the crash, which occurred around 10:05 p.m. Saturday on Route 30 in Absecon. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The Press of Atlantic City reports the man driving the car was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The injured passenger was taken to a hospital, but further details on their condition were not disclosed.
Their names were not disclosed.
The highway's eastbound lanes were closed for about seven hours as authorities investigated and cleared the scene.
