Delaware State Police say they are investigating the death of a man whose body was found by troopers on the side of the road Saturday.
Investigators say it happened around 11:51 a.m. when the unidentified man may have been walking near the intersection of Routes 13 and 273 when he was struck by a vehicle. The victim's body was found shortly before midnight Saturday.
The man is described as a white male, approximately 30-45 years old.
Two right lanes of Rt 13 southbound in the area of the incident were closed for several hours due to the investigation.
