Cops Search for Rapist in North Philly

Police released sketch of man who allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl in North Philly

Police are asking for help from the public in finding a man accused of sexually assaulting and terrorizing a 15-year-old girl in North Philadelphia.

On March 14, police say the teen was walking on Sedgely Avenue, near Goodman Street, when a man dragged her into an alley and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Investigators say the man threatened to kill the teen during the assault. The suspect then fled on foot southbound on 10th Street.

Police say the suspect was clean-shaven, wearing a black jacket and black-colored pants. He was also carrying a briefcase, according to investigators.
