Toddler Dies After Being Shot in Head

Boy was hit by stray bullets, police say

A toddler has died after being shot inside his Delaware County home.

Terrance Webster, 2, was shot in the head as his parents arrived home to their apartment on the 1200 block on W. Ninth Street in Chester, Pa. just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday, police say.

The child was rushed to Cozer-Chester Medical Center in critical condition and then transferred to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Terrance passed away from his injuries Monday, police say.

The boy's parents, Tisheta Green and Thomas Webster, were also hurt in the shooting, police say.

Green, 25, was shot in the left leg and Webster, 26, was hit in the hand. Both were treated at Crozer-Chester before being taken to CHOP to be with their son.

Delaware County detectives and Chester Police are investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call authorities at 610.891.4700.
