Jamar Brown is the suspect in the latest accident involving a Philadelphia police officer. Police say Brown was behind the wheel Thursday morning when his car hit a police cruiser. Brown was charged with forgery, tampering with records and related offenses. The officer was treated for minor neck and back injuries and released. The accident happened just before 2am in the Frankford section of the city. The officer was from the 15th District. It's the second time this week a Philadelphia police officer has been involved in an auto accident. On Monday, Sgt. Timothy Simpson was killed when an alleged drunk driver slammed into his cruiser in Port Richmond.
