Student-Athlete On His Way to All-Star Game
A local football player gets an amazing honor. Marquis Edwards is an 8th grade honor student and star football player at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Philadelphia. He has been picked to play in a National All-Star game, following in the footsteps of such greats as Reggie Bush, Adrian Peterson and Vince Young. Edwards was chosen as a football All-American. Edwards will be a running back on the East All-American Team. They play January 4th, 2009.
