The Internal Revenue Service is offering free tax help on Saturday, November 7 in Center City.

"Solution Saturday" gives personalized help to individual taxpayers, small business owners and those of you who are self-employed and live in the Greater Philadelphia area which includes Philly, the 'burbs, South Jersey and Delaware.

The hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the place is 600 Arch Street, on the 6th Street side of the building.

"Foreclosures, bankruptcies, payment plans related to delinquent taxes, tax penalties, past-due tax returns questions and answers about all the stimulus credits and other tax issues can be a challenge for taxpayers,” said Pennsylvania IRS spokesperson David Stewart. “Some of these issues may require personal contact with IRS staff.  'Solution Saturday' enables taxpayers to meet with IRS employees face to face to address their tax matters."
