A woman's umbrella and a SEPTA bus may have saved her life Wednesday when her boyfriend came at her with a sword, police said.
The victim was waiting for a bus at 26th and Morris when the man started chasing her with a sword, according to police. She used her umbrella to shield herself from the attack and then hopped on the SEPTA bus to get away.
The man, identified as Harry Wise, was arrested a short time later, sans the sword.
