Well, surprise, surprise, our great city ranks in the top 20 of another Forbes list -- and it ain't pretty, but then again, neither are we.
So we've been topped the list of ugliest, most stressful, fattest -- geez! It's no wonder we're miserable.
That's right Philly, we're number 20 on Forbes' list of America's Most Miserable Cities.
"Misery Measure takes into account unemployment, taxes (both sales and income), commute times, violent crime and how its pro sports teams have fared over the past two years. We also factored in two indexes that gauge weather and Superfund pollution sites. Lastly we considered corruption based on convictions of public officials in each area as tracked by the Public Integrity Section of the U.S. Department of Justice," according to Forbes Magazine.
In our defense, we did have two blizzards in one week.
Wondering who else made the list? Cleveland, Ohio took the number one spot, with Stockton, Calif. following a close second. Memphis, Tenn., Detroit and Flint, Mich. round out the top five.
Look on the brightside Philadelphia, at least we don't live in Cleveland.
