Philly Public, Catholic Schools Reopen Tuesday

Philadelphia's public and Catholic schools will be open Tuesday after a day off due to snow.

School district crews spent most of Monday clearing parking lots and sidewalks around schools in preparation for students to return to the classroom after the big weekend snowstorm.

All regional offices and central administration offices for the district  are also opened.

The opening means the district's transportation services will provide yellow bus service to public, charter, private and parochial schools, according to the school district's website.

Parents should expect delays in morning pick-up and afternoon drop-offs due to traffic.

All classes are scheduled to resume at regular times, according to school officials.
