A New Jersey State Police sergeant arrested a Nevada woman and her son wanted in the alleged murder of the woman's husband last month.
Acting on a tip from an Atlantic City casino patron, State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones arrested 43-year-old Michelle Costello and her 19-year-old son, Peter, early Saturday at Resorts Atlantic City. The two were held at the Atlantic City jail on no-bail fugitive warrants as authorities moved on extradition proceedings.
The Associated Press reports that the casino patron reported seeing the suspects on "America's Most Wanted" but could not remember their names.
The Costellos were arrested without incident in the Sept. 20 slaying of 65-year-old Bert English.
