Friends Hold Benefit for Hit-and-Run Victim, Brian Hickey

Beef and beer benefit will help family with medical expenses.

Friends of hit-and-run victim Brian Hickey have organized a fundraiser to help the local journalist's family pay for medical expenses.

Hickey was hit Friday night and was still in a coma Monday at Cooper Hospital.

Place: The Tap Room (formerly RMac's) in Westmont, NJ.

Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. A 50-50 will also be held. All proceeds will be given to Brain's wife, Angie. If you wish to pay with a credit card in advance, please contact Shawn Rutter at 856-325-8646.
