Man Stabbed at Local Wawa

A man was stabbed at a Delaware Wawa store on Tuesday around 3 p.m.

The incident happened at the Wawa Convenience Store on Limestone Road in Marshalton, DE.

Police say that the victim is a 27-year-old man from Newark, DE.

The victim was with two other men when he entered the Wawa at around 3:20 p.m. The three of them then went to the bathroom.

Only a short time later, two of the men, who are now suspects, fled the scene.

The victim chased after them then returned to the store. He fell to the ground, suffering from a stab wound on his back. The two suspects, one black man and one white man, fled in an unidentifiable vehicle.
 
The victim was sent to the Christina Hospital where he underwent surgery for his injuries. He is currently in critical but stable condition
 
Detectives are still investigating the crime.
