Larry Mendte's transgressions may launch his next career.

The former CBS3 and NBC10 anchor, who was fired and sued after hacking into co-anchor Alycia Lane's emails, is trying to syndicate a new TV show called Coming Clean.

"You see, I know what it's like to come clean," Mendte says in a pitch for the show, posted on YouTube.

Larry's "Coming Clean" Pitch

The daily program would be "unrelenting in our quest for the truth" and focus on stories about people whose behavior has earned them the same sort of scorn Mendte suffered so publicly.

"It is a lonely and difficult path to follow," Mendte says in the YouTube video. He would host the show and Philly's Banyan Productions would put it together.

"As part of our show, we will debate and analyze those coming-clean moments," Mendte says.

The show would feature a "human lie-detector" who reads micro-facial expressions, tone and body language, a lot like what you see on the Fox hit show, Lie to Me.

"Their redemption will be my redemption. We'll follow the path together."

Coming Clean would likely compete with Oprah as the national forum for celebrity confessions, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
