It was an emotional moment:  The final salute for Sgt. Timmy Simpson Tuesday afternoon at the scene in Port Richmond where he died.

Captain Kevin Hodges from the 24th District brought Sgt. Simpson's handcuffs to a vigil taking place.

He held the handcuffs up and fellow officers cheered.

There was also a final salute at the vigil by some members of the 24th, which was Sgt. Simpson's district.
