Radnor Diners' Cars Robbed While They Eat

Thieves are breaking into cars while people eat at Radnor restaurants

For Radnor Township residents, locking your car may not be enough to keep your items safe. Burglars have started targeting cars at diners in the area and break into those with visible valuables inside, police say.

Five cars were broken into Tuesday night at Georges' restaurant in Radnor Towship while each victim dined inside between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

In the past month, two other restaurants within a half-mile of Georges' have had similar incidents, leading police to believe it was the same thieves.

Items such as laptops, iPods, and cash have been stolen leaving many in disbelief due to what one resident says is usually a safe atmosphere.
