"She's Trying to Kill Me"

On Sunday night, around 8:30 p.m., a mother was brutally attacked by her daughter with a sledgehammer, according to police. 

Neighbors in Lower Chichester was alerted to the attack when they heard the woman screaming "She's trying to kill me!"

After hearing the screams, neighbors watched in horror as the woman emerged from her home wearing a blood-soaked dress, sledghammer in hand.

"I said "What happened!" And she said, my daughter hit me with a sledgehammer," said a neighbor.

The mother, who was hit in the head with the hammer, was rushed to Crozer-Chester Medical Center where she remains. Her condition is unknown.  

The daughter is in custody.
