A Delaware man is accused of stabbing his business partner in a fight over the glassblowing shop they both own in Newport.
Thomas S. Bloss, 21, came to the shop Monday night and argued with his co-owner, according to The News Journal. Two witnesses told police Bloss grabbed a large knife and cut a propane tank inside the shop.
Bloss then lunged at the victim, slashed his neck, and then ran out of the East Ayre Street shop, according to the witnesses.
Police believe Bloss fled to New York City because he told family members he was going there late Monday.
Anyone with information should call Newport Police at 302.995.1411.
The victim, also 21, was treated and released from the hospital.
