A man armed with a handgun robbed a hotel in Upper Macungie Sunday morning.
At about 4:20 a.m., the man entered the lobby of the Hampton Inn at 7471 Keebler Way, pointed the gun at the desk clerk and demanded money, according to Berks-Lehigh Regional Police. The man took cash from the clerk and demanded she get down on the floor. He then fled the area.
The man was described as about 5-feet-8-inches tall with a medium build. He may be a black man, but his face was partially covered with what looked like a black scarf. He also wore a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and jeans.
