A 14-year-old girl who was walking home from the Olney Shopping Center was abducted by three men Saturday night, taken to a grassy area behind a SEPTA platform, and raped, say police.
The second rape in one weekend, the girl was assaulted behind the Olney R8 train station at Mascher Street and Tabor Road at about 8:30 p.m., say police. Authorities believe she was cutting through a path to get to the train platform.
One of the attackers had a silver handgun and as least one of the men raped her before all three fled on foot, according to the Daily News.
The girl was treated and released from Episcopal Hospital. Police were interviewing the victim Monday afternoon to get more information. Police said they will be looking at any surveillance video available in the area.
