St. Joseph's Student Has Bacterial Meningitis

A student at St. Joseph’s University was hospitalized with bacterial meningitis, the university announced Friday.

A student at St. Joseph’s University was hospitalized with bacterial meningitis, according to the university.

The student is in stable condition at Lankenau Hospital.

The school is working to identify others who may have come in contact with the ill student, school officials said.

All students and faculty have been notified.

The student’s roommate was taken to the hospital as a precaution but released.
