  • LiteraryLuvChild Tuesday, Jun 23 at 12:09 PM FLAG COMMENT There seems to be a broad spectrum of Vampire angles - Sexy Vampire, Conflicted Vampire, Blood Thirsty Vampire...Stephenie Meyers chose a vampire/human love story that seems to focus on the Vampire Society as a whole rather than the hunt. I think the Love story is the real attraction of Twilight, and the prevention of the massacre of humans is just kinda secondary. I still remember Fright Night and Roddy McDowell as Vincent ...Chris Sarandon as the Vampire...Best roles I have seen for either of them even though it had definite CHEESE factor. ... MORE >

  • Kathy Tuesday, Jun 16 at 9:06 AM FLAG COMMENT I agree with Alison, Michael Easton's Caleb is the one reason that I watched Blood Ties, Moonlight, True Blood, and read the Twilight Series. He is also another actor that has a great voice.I agree with Alison, Michael Easton's Caleb is the one reason that I watched Blood Ties, Moonlight, True Blood, and read the Twilight Series. • wrtbestseller Tuesday, Jun 16 at 1:30 AM FLAG COMMENT I loved Charlaine Harris's books, and the series TrueBlood is excellent. But, once again, I'm baffled at the way the producers have changed a near perfect story line in the filmed version. Same with Twilight,,, though Meyer's is hardly the writer that Harris is, the books are still mesmerizing and hard to put down. Buffy was in a class by herself,,, witty, funny, constantly pushing the edge and always thought provoking (despite the fluffy cover), Buffy truly holds the record for teen angst, far better than Twilight. I love them all. I'm very partial to the vampire genre, if well done. ... MORE >
