Biden Speaks in Allentown

Vice President Joe Biden says people have a right to be angry in this election season, but they should be mad at the previous administration, not the Obama administration.

Biden was in eastern Pennsylvania on Monday night to appear at an event in Allentown for congressional hopeful John Callahan. The Bethlehem mayor is challenging incumbent GOP Rep. Charlie Dent.

Biden told about 300 people at the Holiday Inn that the Bush administration's policies were responsible for the recession. He said he had encouraged Callahan to run and said Dent could not be trusted on such issues as deficit reduction, Social Security, Medicare and education.

Biden defended the administration's stimulus program and accused Republicans of voting to do ``not one single thing.''
