Obama to Voters: Don't Take Anything for Granted

President Barack Obama is telling Democrats in Delaware not to take anything for granted just because their candidate for Senate is leading in the polls.

Speaking on the stage of an ornate opera house, Obama said the economic crisis makes this a tough political season for every candidate. Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are in Delaware rallying support for Chris Coons, the Democrat vying for Biden's old Senate seat.

Coons holds a solid lead over tea-party backed Republican Christine O'Donnell, whose campaign has been dogged by questions about her background and evangelical views she espoused as a conservative television commentator.

Obama is in the midst of a campaign blitz ahead of the Nov. 2 elections. He'll make stops for candidates in Massachusetts and Ohio this weekend.
