Pennsylvania Attorney General Wants a New Job in Harrisburg

Tom Corbett distringuishes his campaign with a pledge that he won't increase taxes.

Attorney General Corbett wants to parlay his position as a self-styled no-nonsense prosecutor into the Governor's office. Corbett has served two terms as Attorney General.  He was appointed in 1995 and later won back-to-back election in 2004 and 2008. Corbett also held hobs as a prosecutor in Allegheny County and in the U.S. Attorney's office. 

Corbett is 61, married, with two children.  His daughter Katherine is a prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney's office.

Chairman of the Bucks County Board of Commissions, Jim Cawley, is the Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor. Cawley and his wife have one child. They live in Middletown Township.
