For the Holidays, Philly's No. 1!

We've all seen the ranking poking some fun at Philly’s less-than-desirable attributes.

We’re exceptionally ugly, miserable, and obscene but here’s a ranking that’ll warm the cockles of your holiday heart: U.S. Airways Magazine has named Philadelphia the best city IN THE WORLD for celebrating the holiday spirit. Yup. Philly beat out London, Rome, Rio, and NYC.

Take that, rest of the planet.

This is just another reason to give yourself a Brotherly-Love high-five. Remember when the American Planning Association named Rittenhouse Square one of the best public spaces in the country? And that was back in October; can you imagine what Rittenhouse Square is like now, during the holidays? I daresay it’s unstoppable.

It’s always gratifying when this city gets recognized for more than its cheesesteaks and passionate sports fans.

We've got (holiday) spirit Philly, yes we do.
