Are you like the thousands of Philadelphians that shop at Wawa regularly? Well, the popular convenience store just launched a new mobile app that will give you rewards for all the coffee, iced tea and Italian hoagies you buy.
The new Wawa app (for Apple and Android devices) allows customers to earn Wawa rewards and pay for orders at its 680 stores. It also provides nutritional information, store hours, directions and even up-to-date fuel prices.
The rewards program basically transforms a Wawa gift card into a Wawa debit card. Customers must go into a store to purchase a Wawa card or use an existing card before loading it on the mobile app (certainly not a time-saver.) They must add funds to the card to begin making purchases. It features an auto-reload feature that links with a credit card.
