Interested in learning more about changing careers, conducting a job search, developing a resume, or other job-related information? The Parkway Central Library is holding on-site “WORKPLACE Wednesdays” every Wednesday for the months of September and October. These workshops are designed to answer the questions of adult job seekers. Topics to be covered include how to make career decisions, job-hunting skills and techniques, interviewing skills and resume building.
The workshops are held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Skyline Room, Fourth floor, at the Parkway Central Library at 1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia. Please bring copies of your resume in order to participate in this event, as critiques are available for up to 18 participants. Also, the first 12 participants to arrive will have computer access in the Tech Lab, Room #14, on the Ground floor. Please call 215-686-5436 for more information.
