A building may finally be coming to a long-vacant Rittenhouse Square lot.
Southern Land Co., which has its headquarters in Nashville, is planning a residential tower at 1911 Walnut St., according to the company website, which says the future building will offer "state-of-the-art living, desirable shopping and delicious dining."
The lot just off Rittenhouse Square has sat vacant for years.
The project will include both rental and condo units, several lower-levels of retail space, and underground parking, according to preliminary plans.
