The CONCACAF 2015 Gold Cup Final, as expected, will be held at Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia on July 26.
The region will also host a third-place match, which is scheduled to take place July 25 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. — home to Major league Soccer's Philadelphia Union.
The two matches are expected to bring 10,000 overnight visitors to this area and generate an economic impact of $13 million to $15 million for the region, according to Larry Needle, executive director of the Philadelphia Sports Congress.
