A flu shot can cost $32 at Walgreens, but Philadelphians can register for a free shot on Thursday with UberHEALTH.
Philadelphia is one of 35 cities that will reap the benefits of the program. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Uber will deliver wellness packs to city residents for $10 with the option to request a free flu shot from a registered nurse for up to 10 people.
The wellness pack includes a water bottle, tissues, hand sanitizer, lollipop and recyclable UberHEALTH tote. The flu shot registration is handled by Passport Health, which has a vaccination clinic at 1500 Walnut St.
