Youth Hockey Frozen Cup Comes to Town

Great ready for a lot of youth hockey later this week.

The North American Frozen Cup, which features 65 youth hockey teams from 11 different states along with four teams from Hong Kong, is coming to the region.

The teams will play a combined 128 games between Dec. 26 And Dec. 29 at Flyers Skate Zone rinks in Voorhees and Pennsauken, N.J., and Northeast Philadelphia.

The annual event, which began in 2003, is organized by Legacy Global Sports and Selects Hockey.

Participants range in age from seven to 16. The Team Comcast Youth Hockey Club will serve as the host organization for the Tier I divisions and the Flyers Youth Hockey Club will serve as the host organization for the Tier II divisions.
