Forbes magazine’s first Under 30 Summit is coming to Philadelphia. It’s a spinoff of Forbes’ “30 Under 30 Who Are Changing the World” segment, which profiles 30 entrepreneurs in 15 fields, all under 30 years old.
The summit, the biggest in Forbes’ 97-year-history, will bring more than 1,000 young movers-and-shakers on the under 30 lists together for educational panels, pitch contests, TED-style presentations, music and food festivals.
A bunch of hand-selected game-changers all in one place is what appeals to Forbes editor Randall Lane the most, he said. And better yet: They’re all at an age where they can significantly change the world.
Lane said there were a couple reasons why he chose Philadelphia to be the brand-new event’s go-to destination. The No. 1 reason is its location. Read more about this story on PBJ.com.
