I checked out DreamIt Philly this week to meet the new slew of companies involved. Out of 12, four of the companies have female founders and CEOs. That’s the highest number of women leaders the Philadelphia accelerator has seen yet, said Patrick FitzGerald, Dreamit Ventures’ managing director.
It’s worth noting, especially this week. On Friday, the Philadelphia Business Journal ran a cover story on the changing gender of tech– part of the print edition’s “women in business” takeover issue.
