Got an Android phone from Google? Now it's safer than it was.
Google downloaded a patch on Saturday to users of the new T-Mobile G1 phones.
The patch fixes vulnerabilities that came to light October 24.
If you have the phone, you should have gotten a system update message Saturday.
It downloads and installs new software, then the phone is available for use immediately.
