For Philadelphians who want to clear up some shoe clutter, this is a great opportunity to get footloose.
Center Stage Children's Theatre Company is extending their fundraising efforts to the Philadelphia community by partnering with Soles4Souls--a shoe drive for the needy.
Philadelphians are asked to donate their shoes. The drive is running from April 20 to May 11. Shoe donations can be made at the Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush High School. The school is located on Knights Road in Northeast Philadelphia.
Collected shoes will be donated to needy Americans across the country.
In addition to the shoe drive, the Center Stage Children's Theatre Company will be performing the musical Footloose on May 29, 30 and 31 at the high school. Ticket information is available on the school's website.
