Eagles Promote from Within to Fill Top Front Office Vacancy

The Philadelphia Eagles have filled their top front office vacancy by promoting from within, naming Ed Marynowitz as vice president of player personnel.

Marynowitz, 30, joined the Eagles in 2012 as the team's assistant director of pro scouting. He was promoted one year later to assistant director of player personnel.

"Ed is someone who has really impressed me going back to my interview process with the Eagles two years ago," said Eages Head Coach Chip Kelly, in a statement. "He's very bright, detailed, organized and his vision was aligned with what we want to accomplish. I spoke with a lot of people outside of our organization over the past few weeks and in the end, Ed was the most impressive."
