Bucks County Job Fair

On Tuesday July 13, 2010, hundreds of residents attended a job fair with over 50 employers at Truman High School in Levittown, Pa.

Participating employers included Comcast, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, SEPTA, and wind energy company Gamesa.

There were also employers representing a range of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, defense, and green energy.

Congressman Patrick Murphy and PA CareerLink of Bucks County hosted the event, which was the second the two have hosted this summer.

Rae Edelman, a fan of Tracy Davidson on Facebook, attended the event and wrote, “It was an incredible event! I even got an interview out of it and lots of other good information on places to apply!”

The job fair was held to help Bucks County families and small businesses get through the economic downturn by bringing new jobs to the region.
