Comcast Buys Ed Snider's Share in Comcast Spectacor

Comcast Corporation has reached an agreement to purchase Ed Snider’s 24 percent stake in Comcast Spectacor.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Comcast acquired majority ownership in Comcast Spectacor in 1996, although Snider maintained a minority stake in the company.

Snider, the founder of the Philadelphia Flyers and Chairman of Comcast Spectacor, died in April after a long battle with cancer. Read the full story here.
