Matthew McManus, the former Montgomery County financial adviser serving a lengthy prison term for his role in bilking nearly 2,000 clients out of $26 million in a massive fraud scheme, will be profiled on CNBC’s weekly docudrama American Greed.
McManus, 47, of Glenside, Pa., former co-owner of Remington Financial Group, will be one of the two cases featured in this week’s episode Friday at 10 p.m.
Narrated by actor Stacy Keach, American Greed looks at real-life cases involving white collar criminal activity such as credit card scams, identity theft, counterfeiting and Ponzi schemes.
