Toddler Hit by Stray Bullet

A stray bullet landed a two-year-old Kensington girl in the hospital Tuesday night.

It happened just before 6 p.m. The girl was in the backyard of a house on the 3000 block of Amber Street when she was hit in the upper right arm by a single bullet, Philadelphia Police said.

The little girl was rushed to the hospital where she was in stable condition Tuesday night, cops said.

The bullet that hit the toddler is believed to have come from a double shooting on the 2000 block of E Stella Street, according to police.

A 51-year-old man was hit in the right side of the chest. He was taken to Temple Hospital in critical but stable condition, police said.

A 29-year-old man was shot in the stomach. He was also taken to Temple Hospital in critical condition.

Four weapons were found on the scene but no arrests were made.
