    July 28, 2012: Three Philadelphia police officer suffered minor injuries trying to break up a big street fight in Tioga.

    Police trying to break up a big street fight got injured in the crowd. It happened in the Tioga neighborhood of Philadelphia on Saturday night around 9 p.m.

    Three officers got hurt. Their injuries are minor. They were all trying to bust up a fight that started when things got rowdy between two big block parties.

    Police tell NBC10 that one officer hurt his knee, another hurt his thumb and a third officer hurt his hand in the brawl.

    Three people in the crowd were arrested for disorderly conduct and a fourth for assault on police.

    Earlier in the night, two Philadelphia officers were hurt in a car crash.
