Man Charged in Logan Laundromat Owner's Murder

Suspected accused in two stabbing deaths

Philadelphia Police have arrested the man they believed stabbed a Laundromat owner to death earlier this month.

Siegfried Moore of the 4700 block of N 15th Street was charged with the Aug. 11 murder of Huan Mo in the Logan section of the city. The 53-year-old woman was found stabbed to death inside her family-owned Laundromat on the 4700 block of 15th Street.

Moore allegedly made off with $100 to $200 in that murder, police said.

The 51-year-old suspect is believed to have also stabbed a 19-year-old man, Devaughn Smith, just blocks from the Laundromat on the 4800 block of Camac Street on Aug. 4.

He faces two murder charges, a robbery charge and two possession of an instrument of crime charges.

Moore is currently at Einstein Hospital suffering from wounds he suffered during the alleged attacks, a police source told NBCPhiladelphia.com.
