Police say five people are dead after a tow truck collided with a car in Lehigh County.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. at Bake Oven and Mountain Roads in Heidelberg Township.

Police say a 1997 Subaru Sedan was traveling north on Bake Oven while a 1997 Chevrolet C650 Tow Truck was driving west on Mountain Road.

Police say the Subaru failed to stop at a stop sign and entered into the lanes on Mountain Road. As it entered, police say it was struck by the tow truck. The impact sent both vehicles off the roadway.

All four passengers inside the Subaru were killed in the crash. The driver of the tow truck was also killed while his passenger was sent to the hospital. Police have not yet revealed the identities of the victims.
