A school bus carrying children and two other vehicles collided this morning in Northeast Philadelphia.

The yellow bus, white van and red SUV were involved in the chain-reaction wreck at Rhawn and Eastwood Streets around 9:45 a.m.

At least nine injuries were reported including children on the bus.

Philadelphia Police accident investigators desribced the injuries as mostly bumps and bruises.

As SkyForce10 hovered overhead a short time later it appeared that the bus, operated by Philly-based Leahy Transportation, hit the back of the van, which hit the back of the SUV.

NBC10.com reached out to Leahy Transportation to find out where the bus was going at the time of the wreck.
