A school bus crashed off a busy area highway this afternoon.

The bus crashed into the woods along Interstate-95 just south of the Pendel Exit for Business Route 1 and State Route 413 in Langhorne, Bucks County, Pa. around 1:30 p.m. Friday.

According to dispatchers there were no children on the Pennsbury School District bus at the time.

The driver suffered injuries and was rushed to nearby St. Mary Medical Center. It's unclear what caused the driver to lose control.

Only the left lane was getting by southbound on I-95 so expect some delays.

The crash remained under investigation as a tow truck arrived around 2:15 to get the bus off the side of the road.
