Two gun-toting men jumped the counter at a Chestnut Hill post office Wednesday afternoon and wound up making off with hundreds in cash, Philadelphia Police said.
Around 2:15 p.m. the armed men with turtlenecks covering their mouths entered the post office at 8227 Germantown Ave., pulled out guns, jumped over the counter and demanded money, according to authorities.
The men fled the scene in a white vehicle with about $600, cops said.
Luckily no one was injured during the robbery.
Despite attempting to disguise themselves, witnesses still got a good look at the alleged robbers, according to the postal service.
The first suspect was described as a thin, athletic built black male about 6-foot-3 to 6-foot-5 with a goatee and medium to dark complexion. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie, dark gray pants and a navy blue turtleneck. He spoke with a deep baritone voice.
The second suspect is described as a bald, stocky black male about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with a medium to dark complexion. He was wearing a blue sleeveless puffy vest and a similar navy blue turtleneck.

The robbery was caught on tape but the surveillance video wasn’t immediately released.
The postal service is offering up to a $50,000 reward for information leading to arrests in the robbery. Anyone with info should call 1-877-876-2455.
