Second Suspect Arrested in Jewelry Store Robbery

Philadelphia Police have arrested Obina Onyaih, 27, for allegedly taking part in a jewelry store robbery in Northeast Philadelphia last month.

On Oct. 21, Kevin Turner, a 22-year-old escaped prisoner, and his accomplice attempted to rob a store owned by 67-year-old William Glatz. The attempted robbery led to a shootout in which Glatz and Turner were killed while Turner’s partner escaped.

The police identified Onyaih as the escaped partner, using surveillance video as evidence. He is charged with murder, robbery and related offenses.
